I'm curious if this field solves a problem I'm having/wanting to solve.
But without installing, giving it a go, and see if it does and/or at least does part of it, I'd like to see or try a demo somewhere so I don't have to go back-and-forth trying to install and uninstall modules.

Hmm honestly we do not have a public demo, but basically what it does is make some components for grid field available on the front end. In 4 the legacy GridFieldFilterableHeader is supported but since that was removed in 5... it doesn't work there. Basically any non-React component works on the front end (i.e outside the cms) fairly well. For the most part all this module really does is provide the JS and CSS to make things work on the front end as well as a separate detail form so that you can add/edit/view items in the grid field without some of the cms hooks.

We actually use it on a couple client's applications, without issues (other than some style overlaps).
