The Tkinter simulator will be in import anyio.gui.GPIO as GPIO.
The plan is for this to pop up a box with LEDs and buttons on it (a bit like the PiFace simulator perhaps), and allow you to completely test your program before any hardware is connected to it.

I saw a really nice simulator designed by some kids at a schools competition, which has got me all excited about this one again. I might not have time to do anything before end of 2014, but it's a nice idea.
