Hey there, I was just wondering if it would be possible to hide the "We've made a browser extension" if you have the extension installed? I'm sure I can hide it with an ad blocker or something but it'd be nice.

I don't think that'll be possible because of how MediaWiki renders these site notices - nor will it be possible to identify them properly. Flagging as "help wanted", tho I may take a stab at this at a later date, tho it'll need cooperation with that wiki's admins.

Edited your post to include the wiki in question.

No worries whatsoever. I was able to hide it with ublock origin, just thought I'd bring it up in the off chance it would be an easy fix.

You really don't want to do that because, as alex said, that area can be used for other important announcements later on. It's much better to dismiss those notices manually because it'll save a cookie so that, if the notice is updated with something important in the future, you'll still see it.
