Readback status of controlled items

How could I add further readback of the status of the items being controlled?
I have an application to open and close two garage doors.
I would like Alexa to tell me when a door is actually closed as a minimum and, if possible, when fully open (Magnetic switch(es} on door). Even more if possible telling me the door is part open (neither switch activated)
Could I add 1, 2 or 3 extra callbacks for each door? If so, could you please guide me as to how?
