2 HA connect to the same dongle with TCP Modbus

Hello,
I have 2 HA running & I would like both to poll the same Huawei installation. (tcp modbus port 502)
I saw a post saying, that it is not possible. why ? where is the limitation.

Only one connection can be established. Use a modbus proxy to allow multiple connections.

Can I ask what your trying to do ? Assuming you have a second HA that you use for testing / development?
If so you can 'replicate' a copy of all the required Huawei sensors from the production HA (with WLCRS integration installed) to the Dev HA, using REST API.

On the Primary HA you need to go to your username (bottom left), then on the Security tab, create a 'Long-Lived Access Token'.
On the Dev HA create a file say.. rest_huawei_sensors.yaml in your /packages directory, then paste this below into it.

Update the 192.168.1.100 to the IP of your Primary HA and replace the 'paste-long-lived-token-here' with your actual token.
Note there are a few extra sensors in that list you may not have, as its my config for a Dev HA where I am testing for SunSynk Power Flow card Huawei/iStore support and adding to PEES, that leverage WLCRS and it uses some extra custom sensors. Just delete what you don't need.
