At the moment, very few parts allow automation controls. As far as I can see only an accelerometer, the pushbutton and a voltage potentiometer allow automation controls.
Describe the solution you'd like
A simple solution is to implement a new scenario step type that allows us to set attributes. For instance, allowing us in automation scenarios to set the temperature, humidity, etc., the same way we do from an interactive simulation via the control panel at the top would open up a lot of new ways to automate tests (assuming the attribute set command exists on the API).
