I can't get it to work with this address https://www.kifoth.de/jane/misc/. I do have the same function in my mouse gesture extension and there it seems to work.

Thanks your reporting!
I uploaded ver. 1.0.2 to AMO, perhaps new ver solves this issue.

1.0.1 : /jane/misc/ -> /jane/misc, but www.kifoth.de redirects to /jane/misc/.
1.0.2 : /jane/misc/ -> /jane/.

I did noticed something else. https://www.kifoth.de/jane/misc/#RekSFV will go back to https://www.kifoth.de/jane/#RekSFV instead of https://www.kifoth.de/jane/misc/

In ver. 1.0.3, Add-on cuts URL hashes before cutting query strings.
