This also happened on another SCreen yetserday (another PC, SAME OS/system config!). But only until a reboot. SInce the reboot, it is working perfect again. Never had this issue before. No system updates before: |

The player was running since my last post without issues. Today it crashed again. Interesting is: every error is talking about "Too many open files". The system is only running xibo - which files are open? The complete log: Other messages: A reboot fixed the issue for now. |
Usually this points to a memory issue, perhaps the Player is leaking memory with the content you've got showing? |

I dont think that my content is the problem. I display some embedded HTML and native website content. In loop. Since weeks. This should never fill something slowly up. But I did not checked the RAM while the crashes happened. |
Would you be able to do that? It would be interesting to see.
It might be that webkitgtk is leaking small amounts of content over time |

Today again: and of and other things. The RAM ist not highly used currently, I monitor that anyway. Just at the beginning of the crahes (BEFORE "Too many open files" occur), the crashes sounds ALL like this: So maybe really a issue with libwebkitgtk? Is the used one the latest version? The player also prduces (in working state) those things: But I believe this is another reason? |

You see the crash frequency by using the date of my posts. I posted here on the same day it happened. Yes, both displays display web content only, no audio or something else. except for one smalöl region: RSS feed. |

Today the player stopped working completely - even after restarts. It simply does not start anymore at all. Syslog says: I believe its |

Happened again. Last reboot was wednesday. Memory consumption since then:
So, no memory issue for me. It seems, that we have multiple issues here (Too many open files vs No such node)? |

Describe the bug
Since one day (the xibo player was working for weeks now), the player constantly crashes (Ubuntu sidebar disappears and just before the splash-screen, Xibo crashes).
To Reproduce
Dont know, after a reboot, Xibo is working again.
