To Reproduce
i use Docker xibo-cms 3.0,1 (ubuntu Server (21.4))
windows xibo-client 3.300.5 (Windows 10)
linux xibo-linux-client (ubuntu Desktop(20.04.1))
Linux player infos name: xibo-player
summary: Xibo Digital Signage Player
publisher: Xibo Signage (xibosignage)
contact: https://community.xibo.org.uk
license: unset
description: |

revolution.
commands:

  • xibo-player.disabled-watchdog
  • xibo-player.options
  • xibo-player
    snap-id: 49j19QBkjBGJYVpX2fRfGgte8BIWrhby
    tracking: latest/edge
    refresh-date: heute um 11:07 CEST
    installed: 1.8-R6 (224) 183MB -
hint#1: i do for testing reasons all in virtual box

hint#2: if i compile (snap) the 1.8-R6 from github for linux the same behaviour.
unfortunately i was not able to run the so far released prereleases (https://github.com/xibosignage/xibo-linux/releases) so i guessed with the edge installation i have the latest sw on my side.

i don't know from WHERE and WHAT on logs i can read/provide

hint#3: if i use a html tag in the widget it works in the same manner on windows and linux. But i guess that's not a real solution

greetings Georg
