Does GPT4free operate in a virtual environment?

I'm a beginner in the realm of programming and I have recently learned about the purposes of virtual environments. The only one I'm familiar with is the Automatic1111 stable diffusion web-ui. I was wondering if this repo sets up operation inside a virtual env in a similar fashion, or perhaps in a different one.

Is there some way that version conflicts are being handled for this project or are the requirements set to install globally?
