See https://opentelemetry.io/docs/collector/ and https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/exporter

Add an open telemetry exporter that supports CLP real-time compression encapsulated in GRPC or HTTP.
Can content encoding over HTTP be https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/Content-Encoding#gzip?

Possible implementation

Similar to https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-contrib/tree/main/exporter/opensearchexporter
