I'm trying to follow how to install on Windows 10. It says to open up a Kicad command prompt.. I have no such beast?? |

@jbuszkie I would download and install the latest KiCad 6.0. otherwise it will be a lot more work than necessary. |

So no way to use it on 5.1.x? I don't really want to upgrade yet to 6.x... |

You cannot use KiKit on Windows with KiCAD v5 as KiCAD v5 on Windows uses archaic Python2. On most Linux distros, you can use it with v5. |

Hi, could you add this to your documentation please. I've been reading through it this morning and didn't find any mention of what versions of KiCAD were supported. Hence me finding my way here. Many thanks. |
