Can't get KiKit to work on V7

Hi

I'm on Windows 10 and trying to get KiKit 1.2.0 to work with KiCad V7.

I'm getting the error cannot import name 'EDA_RECT' from 'pcbnew' (C:\Program Files\KiCad\7.0\bin\Lib\site-packages\pcbnew.py).

Should an install of 1.2.0 using pip install kikit -U work out of the box?

If you know what the issue is or need more information please let me know.

TLDR: 1.2 doesn't support v7, the upstream version does.

I understand that this is what's on Github? How does one get the upstream version (don't know what this is). The "installing custom versions" bit in the documentation doesn't mention upstream. Is the install process using pip or is it manually moving files from github? Sorry but I'm quite new to this process. Many thanks, Sam

Okay after quite a bit of fiddling I've been able to get this to work. I'm just having issues with tab radius not accepting any values so will create an issue report for that bug.
