yarn workspaces foreach only running on root workspace

Hi all I'm having an issue with the yarn workspaces foreach command. I simply want to run a command in every workspace. However, when I run yarn workspaces foreach, it seems it only runs in the root workspace where my root package.json exists.

If I use the -p flag it seems to run in more workspaces, but it's still skipping a few. The -A flat seems to have no effect.

I'm using yarn version 2.4.1

I'll guess you're using Node 15 in which case you're running into #2255

You can fix it by running

yarn set version 3.0.0-rc.2

Note: You'll need to remove your existing plugins and import them anew
