現在、リポジトリの提出先が、個人作業とチーム作業でリポジトリの名前が違うだけのものに見えますが、個人制作は個人のリポジトリ、チーム制作は例えばイベントごとのorganizationにリポジトリを作る方が、学びの量を増やせると思うのですが、いかがでしょうか？
