Expected behavior
If auto-adding to whitelist new apps is enabled in settings, apps installed with Yalp should be added to whitelist for auto-updating.
Actual behavior
They don't. You have to add them manually.
Steps to reproduce
Disable blacklist, enable auto-whitelist in settings and install any app through Yalp.
Your setup
Samsung Galaxy A8 2018, Android 8.0.0, Yalp v0.45-legacy

Same problem here. I have auto-whitelist and automatic install via root enabled. After installing an app, if I immediately go to settings and look at the whitelist, I see the newly-installed app checked in the whitelist. If I then exit yalp store (and swipe-close it via the task switcher), then relaunch it, it's no longer checked in the whitelist. If I then select it, it persists across app starts.
It's behaving like an in-memory database is updated when the app is installed, but then isn't being persisted back to disk via a save or flush.
