What you are struggling with

I have developed some dashboards in Grafana 7.x which includes Boom Table panels. When I open these dashboards in Grafana 8 I get the error message: Panel plugin not found: yesoreyeram-boomtable-panel in place of the panel's content.

What you tried

I have tried this with a local Grafana 8 installation and also on Grafana Cloud and see the same behaviour in each place.

Updating to latest build of the plugin (1.4.1) fixes the problem locally. Still seeing the same problem on Grafana Cloud though even after uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin on Grafana Cloud.

PEBCAK. My Grafana Cloud account default data source was not the same as used locally. Setting the default data source in Grafana Cloud to be the one I was using locally fixed the problem. The error message Panel plugin not found: yesoreyeram-boomtable-panel is a little misleading but the panel does work fine in 8.0.0 both locally and in Grafana Cloud.
