Syncthing container image running on Alpine Linux

Docker Automated build Docker Pulls Docker Stars

Alpine Version Docker Version

This container image (yobasystems/alpine-syncthing) is based on the minimal Alpine Linux with version 1.27.10 of Syncthing

Alpine Version 3.20.2 (Released 2024-07-22)

Syncthing Version 1.27.10

🏔️ What is Alpine Linux?

Alpine Linux is a Linux distribution built around musl libc and BusyBox. The image is only 5 MB in size and has access to a package repository that is much more complete than other BusyBox based images. This makes Alpine Linux a great image base for utilities and even production applications. Read more about Alpine Linux here and you can see how their mantra fits in right at home with container images.

What is Syncthing?

Syncthing is a continuous file synchronization program. It synchronizes files between two or more computers in real time, safely protected from prying eyes. Your data is your data alone and you deserve to choose where it is stored, whether it is shared with some third party, and how it's transmitted over the internet.

✨ Features

  • Minimal size only, minimal layers
  • Memory usage is minimal on a simple install.
