Found signpdf just after I'd already made a similar tool myself: https://github.com/svenssonaxel/pdf-sign

Pro: It has a GUI with both keyboard and mouse support.
Con: It only supports PDF signature files.

Feel free to take the GUI code if you want, or merge the projects or whatever.
