History
=======
OpenTenBase project is based on prior work of Postgres-XL project.
Postgres-XL project is based on prior work of Postgres-XC project. The
Postgres-XC project itself is based on PostgreSQL and is available under
PostgreSQL license. The work done by the PostgreSQL community is copyrighted
by the PostgreSQL Global Development Group. The work done by the Postgres-XC
community is copyrighted by the Postgres-XC Development Group.
All the exclusive work in Postgres-XL from 2012 to 2014 is copyrighted by
TransLattice Inc. Whereas work done from April 2015 onwards is copyrighted by
2ndQuandrant Limited. This work includes, but not limited to, merge with major
PostgreSQL release such as 9.3, 9.4 and 9.5 and relevant bug fixes/enhancements.
Note: 2ndQuadrant hopes that future versions of Postgres-XL will be released
under the PostgreSQL Licence. 2ndQuadrant will change the licence over to the
PostgreSQL Licence within one month of us receiving public notification that
all other copyright holders have also agreed to change to the PostgreSQL
Licence. Contributions to this code are accepted only on this understanding,
