I'm using SLSim to simulate error-contained single-cell sequencing reads, and it's quick and convenient to use, thank you! However, the design of reads confuses me.
So i wonder why SLSim simulates reads with two adapters? And what's the function of nanopore adapter in real experiment? It will be better if you could offer an official intruduction website of nanopore adapter and 10X adapter together.
Thanks!

Hello.
I'm using SLSim to simulate error-contained single-cell sequencing reads, and it's quick and convenient to use, thank you! However, the design of reads confuses me.
In https://github.com/epi2me-labs/wf-single-cell pipeline, the single-cell reads only contain one 10X adapter. And when i check the sequencing kit in nanopore official website, such as https://store.nanoporetech.com/us/ligation-sequencing-kit-v14.html, it also has only one sequencing adapter for each read. BLAZE only use suffix of the 22nt 10X adapter to initiate.
So i wonder why SLSim simulates reads with two adapters? And what's the function of nanopore adapter in real experiment? It will be better if you could offer an official intruduction website of nanopore adapter and 10X adapter together.
Thanks!
