ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'setuptools' #12

for anyone encountering this issue:

i', using miniforge and a venv for this project, not sure why I couldn't just clone the repo and install it in place.

insteal of installing swig and cloning the repo as instructed, activated my env first, then ran:

conda install -c anaconda swig

pip install git+https://github.com/yvan674/obb_anns

worked like a charm!
