It looks like it was installed it. Did you reboot NR and check the manage palette? |

Yep nevermind, the nodered container was not up to date (downloaded but not applied) and it looks like it messed something. Thanks for the answer ! |

Hello everyone, sorry for digging up this old discussion, but I am having the exact same problem. I am running the nodered docker container (nodered/node-red:2.2.3) on kubernetes, with all data for flows and npm modules in a persistent volume on my NAS. I've been running without a problem for a while now, upgrading nodered, modules etc.. no problem. Today I went and upgraded modules that had upgrades, and sure enough started having issue with the most important module node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket and upgrading to 0.47.0 (can't remember previous version I was on). So in trying to resolve issue, i've actually reached the point where I deleted the entire node_modules directory, package-lock.json and packages.json file, so basically starting fresh with nothing. I then start the container, go to palett and try to install the module but always get an error "Failed to install: node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket" and the log shows:
In the log it does seem to install, and it even shows up in the node_modules directory and is listed in the packages.json file, but after restarting I still don't see the module and it still show up as uninstalled. I am at a loss. Every other module I try to install, installs without a problem. Am just having problems with this one. EDIT: In the meantime, i've downgraded to v0.45.10 and it seems to be working! |
