how to get manufacturer / product info about a device?

I'm trying to get a list of all entity_ids for a given type of device I have. (for example, I have 10 of the same dimmer switch - how do I get all 10 of those entity_ids?)

the 'get entities' node doesn't appear to return that type of information. Home Assistant definitely seems to have it:

1. I can't filter by model # or product name or even manufacturer
2. Doesn't seem like what is returned includes additional attributes like what I'm looking for

You want the information from the device registry. You'll have use the API node with the follow data field {"type": "config/device_registry/list"}

You can try searching the source for @websocket_api.websocket_command
