New to HA and hope I have not missed anything crucial, but I have discussed with more experienced users and searched a lot and seen more people trying to solve the same problem in complicated ways.
While using old 433 MHz switches, signals from remote controls can be missed by the HA controller and some 433 MHz in-wall relays have a connection for binary switch, but that is by the design not reported back to HA and NR.
If my switch is in off state, I think it's a bit too dark and hit the wall switch. The lamp is on, but HA and NR believes its off.
When next NR Flow is to turn that lamp off, it sees it's already off and does not transmit (with my RFXtrx) and the lamp doesn't switch.
It would be very useful with a checkbox the other way around than what I have seen in some other nodes where action can be ignored if previous state equals current state.
A checkbox setting "send even if current state equals previous state" would be very useful!
That could probably also be used where range limits makes it unsure if device reacts. Then some repeat could have it send the signal several times in a quite easy way.
