Posidon launcher is currently unmaintainable, the code is a mess, for the project to survive, we have to massively reorganise the code, and possible trim some customization features.

This is a thread to discuss exactly that.
Which features we can let go, how to reuse the same code for different parts of the launcher...

One of the things that has to be re-implemented are notifications.
The current implementation isn't very performance-friendly, and isn't future-proof.

Also, I'm not making a new posidon launcher from scratch on my own, but if people with android experience want to do it with me, then I'm in

I'd like it if per-app custom icons could be kept. Not a whole lot of that in f/l/oss launchers lately.
