Comparison methods for reactions & metabolites with multiple data sets

Would it be possible to implement a different metric of "Fold Change" where the value is simply a ratio of the second flux over the first? I would like it to have negative numbers if the direction of flux changes, 0 to 1 if it decreases, or greater than 1 if it increases.
