Ability to remove the workspaces button

I do not need two.

It is already an object moveable with the Customize Toolbar mode, it's just prohibited to move it for some arbitrary reason.

I agree. The workspaces button is redundant when the “display workspace as an icon strip” is on. Enabling it should prompt an option to hide the workspaces button.
