What happened?

I am aware that this issue has been resolved for the author of #4789, but the fix that worked for them doesn't work for me.
On some sites, the background is rendered in dark gray color instead of white. With all extensions and Zen mods disabled, the problem still exists.

Sites for example in Zen Browser:

Same sites in Edge:

The fix from #4789, which involves setting browser.tabs.allow_transparent_browser to false, doesn't change anything for me. In fact, I have this property already set to false by default. When I set it to true, the background which is dark gray becomes transparent. This bug existed for me also in version 1.7.4b.

Reproducible?

  • I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.

Version

1.7.5b

What platform are you seeing the problem on?

Windows

@Anoms12 I wrote in my issue that this doesn't solve my problem.

The fix from #4789, which involves setting browser.tabs.allow_transparent_browser to false, doesn't change anything for me.

Now I am on 1.7.6b and it is still broken and i have browser.tabs.allow_transparent_browser set to false.
