Traffic Monitor seems to lose its settings when the computer crashes

Sometimes when the computer crashes or has to be forced to shutdown by holding down the power button, Traffic Monitor's settings seem to get reset to default when the computer is turned back on. This is inconvenient, so I would appreciate it if a fix for the issue could be released so that Traffic Monitor doesn't lose its settings due to such events.
