Excalibrain is minimizing the entire app

When I enter the excalibrain view the app automatically minimizes. If I use the Popout window mode for excalidraw only that popout window minimizes.
This behaviour happens every time when I do the following:

1. Open the excalibrain view
2. Click on a note in excalibrain view
3. Reopening obsidian when excalibrain was in the side pane at the time of closing.

Version
Obsidian v1.5.3(Installer v1.4.16)
Excalidraw v2.0.18
ExcaliBrain v0.2.12

Update: It doesn't seem like it's minimizing. When I have no other application open obsidian works fine. But if I have other things open obsidian will go behind all of them which is why I thought it was minimizing first.
