The Text-Cursor seems to always have the same Color disregarding the Background. If the User chooses colors which are close to HEX: d5d5d5 the cursor is nearly invisible.
Coincidentally are the colors, after using the inversion script, near this value.
Describe the solution you'd like
The cursor should have an inner (HEX: 000000) & outer color (HEX: FFFFFF) to make it perfecly visible under all conditions, the increased width by using 2 layers would also make it more likely to be seen.
Furthermore you could the User choose their own primary & secondary colors to enable lime green+magenta colored cursor for maximum visibility
Real-life usage scenarios
Every User which doesnt use pre defined color palette
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternatives to finding cursor:
Zoom in a lot
type a letter then delete it again
shift+arrow to select some text

Unfortunately, HTML alone does not natively support a double-colored text cursor. The browser's text cursor (caret) is controlled by the operating system and rendered as a single-color element.
The cursor color is based on the canvas color if you have dynamic color enabled:
On second thought... I implemented a solution. Try 2.6.8-beta-2, if you have dynamic styling enabled then cursor color will follow the inverse of the background color where you created the text element
