Some sort of API (REST or the like), submit IMDb ID, get film title and other attributes like genres, director, the cast list, etc...

Would that be possible or does it even exist in some form already (could not find it)?

Sure, we could scrape the HTML... BUT... not a very "clean" approach.

Would be very helpful for adding content to our open source game TVTower ... thanks!
