Incidents

The incidents section is aimed at outlining and communicating any kind of large scale problems. Incidents will be created for any issue that has a label other than maintenance. The most common option is to simply use the label incident. The title will become the heading, and the content of the first comment will become the body. If updates need to be made, they will need to be made by adjusting the first comment. Only the first comment will be used to populate the body of the incident. When an issue has been closed, it will update on the page as well and indicate the latest update time.

An additional functionality of the labels, is to use the prefix: status:. For ex: status: mysite. This will produce an additional label on the incident beyond just the open/closed indicator. Keep in mind, that using more than one label, will create duplicate entries. This will be altered later.
