Directors

Directors are a mechanic in Movecraft that allow weapons from a ship to be targeted along lines other than the cardinal directions. Using a pilot tool, players may point in a direction to redirect fire toward the direction they are facing. Currently there are two types of directors: Cannon Directors and AA Directors. Cannon Directors affect fast-moving TNT fired from a cannon, while AA directors affect fire charges shot out of a dispenser.

Using Directors

Directors are only usable on crafts that have the allowCannonDirectors and/or allowAADirectors properties set to true. On crafts that have them enabled, simply place a sign reading Cannon Director or AA Director, pilot the craft, and right-click the sign. You will see a message in chat telling you that you are now directing. Once you are directing, use the pilot tool while firing your weapons to redirect fire within a cone based on the direction it was originally going.
