Welcome to the RocketCommunityBuild2019-Bangalore wiki! We at Rocket Software, organize an annual Hackathon where we try to solve any one community problem. This way we try to give back to the community in our own way.

This year i.e. 2019 we decided to help Police department by trying to ease their patrol(Beats) monitoring process. Current process is very cumbersome and requires a lot of data collation and manual intervention.

We proposed to automate the same by using client server model where the patrolling person/team can simply enable the tracking client in their hand held device such as Mobile phone and the same will start sending the location based data to a centralized server. Now as the data is available at server, any authorized person can login to the Web interface of the system and can view the patrolling status and other details as and when required.
