:::info

This article is about AdGuard for Android, a multifunctional ad blocker that protects your device at the system level. To see how it works, [download the AdGuard app](https://agrd.io/download-kb-adblock)

:::

Starting with One UI 6.1.1 (Android 14), Samsung introduced a security enhancement called *Auto Blocker*, which is enabled by default on the latest Galaxi smartphones. This feautures automatically blocks sideloaded apps from unverified sources unless the user manually overrides the setting.

Since AdGuard for Android [can't be published on Google Play](https://adguard.com/en/blog/adguard-google-play-removal.html), you need to mannualy install it. However, with the new *Auto Blocker* enabled, some users may encounter issues when installing AdGuard APK files. To address this, we’ve provided a step-by-step guide below on how to disable *Auto Blocker*.

## How to disable Auto Blocker

Follow the instructions to turn off *Auto Blocker*.

1. Open your device settings
1. Go to *Security and privacy*
1. Scroll down and select *Auto Blocker*
1. Toggle the setting off
