In today's digital era, sharing code snippets, text, or files securely and conveniently is essential for collaboration and knowledge dissemination. This project introduces a user-friendly platform that allows users to share code, text, and files effortlessly by simply appending a unique identifier to the URL. Additionally, it features a FileShare functionality enabling the seamless transfer of files up to 100MB in size between public devices without requiring any login credentials. The platform prioritizes simplicity and accessibility.

Features

• URL-Based Content Sharing: Users can share code snippets, text, or any other content by appending a unique identifier (/any_id) to the URL. This allows easy access for anyone with the link, streamlining the sharing process without the need for complex authentication mechanisms.
• Anonymous File Transfer: The FileShare feature enables users to transfer small files, including assignments, questions, code files, or PDFs, anonymously between public devices. Files of up to 100MB in size can be uploaded and downloaded securely without requiring users to log in, ensuring convenience and privacy.
• User-Friendly Interface: The platform offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it accessible to users with varying levels of technical expertise. Clear navigation and straightforward functionalities enhance the user experience, promoting widespread adoption and usage.
• Security and Privacy: While emphasizing ease of use, the platform prioritizes security and privacy. Files shared through the platform are encrypted during transmission and stored securely, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access or data breaches.
• Static FileShare Link (/files): The FileShare functionality is accessible through a static link (/files), simplifying the sharing process further. Users can easily upload and download files by accessing this designated link, facilitating seamless file exchange between devices.
• Scalability and Flexibility: The platform is designed to be scalable and adaptable to evolving user needs. Future enhancements and additional features can be integrated seamlessly to accommodate expanding usage scenarios and technological advancements.
• Community Collaboration: By enabling effortless content sharing and file transfer, the platform fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange within communities, educational institutions, and professional networks. It serves as a valuable resource for individuals and groups seeking to share information and resources effectively.
• Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Feedback mechanisms are incorporated to gather user input and suggestions for improving the platform. • Edit Lock Feature: A new feature, Edit Lock, allows users to turn on a lock if they want to edit content. This prevents others from making changes to the content while the lock is active.
• API for External Usage: There are two API for uplaoding and downloading of texts. And I also have a vscode extension (named sharecoder) for seemlessly using from vscode. ( api_get.php and api_post.php)

Installation

Prerequisites

• PHP (v7.x or higher)
• MySQL (v5.x or higher)
• Web Server (e.g., Apache, Nginx)

Usage

• Share Content: Append a unique identifier to the URL to share code snippets, text, or other content. For example: https://sharecode.currentechz.com/unique_id.
• Transfer Files: Use the static link /files to upload and download files anonymously. For safety, always keep a backup file.
• Edit Lock: Turn on the edit lock slider to changeing / editing the content while you are making changes. This features helps preventing unwanted changes.
