Updated ubuntu scripts with various fixes, mostly WSL specific, but also a general one in the sudo / root user check |

I'm realizing that I probably would've been better to create multiple pull requests, but I didn't understand how to do that, but now I see a button called close with comment, not sure if that cancels my PR, or if would let me make another with later changes? Either way, I tried to make my changes incremental, so as to be clear about what I did & why. I'd be open to a cleaner way if there is one. |
