Earth Watch: Prototype for Techno.Hack 2022

Prototype build for Techno.Hack 2022 organized by VGTI.

We are building a Python-based GUI to calculate your carbon footprint and how it is affecting the planet. It will output your carbon footprint along leveled on the basis of how sad you make joe, a critically endangered species i.e. a leatherback turtle and incase your footprint is too high it provides you details on how much polar ice did you emission contribute in melting.

Steps

1. Given that your system has Python 3 installed, go to cmd and type pip install Pillow
2. After the installation, in the command prompt, cd to the directory where the application is stored.
3. Then type python main.py to run the application.
4. Larger monitor advised for best results. (would make it compatible with every screen in later upgrades)
