Coming here from the reddit thread on kexec. I have these devices:
-Lenovo USB-C receiver (used for high-DPI wireless mice and wireless keyboards)
-Pinebook Pro USB-C dock (excellent device to make these minimalist macs into proper laptops link to Pine64 for specs

What the error looks like and how to partially make it work
Usually what happens is if I boot with any of these plugged in, U-Boot is really slow (the devices seem to interrupt U-Boot) and eventually if I do nothing it'll complain about the XHCI USB errors. The trick that works sometimes is wait for it to start chainloading GRUB (which it doesn't load on itself), it'll just say something like "starting up GRUB" but I can see its still the U-Boot black screen. So once that happens, I press Ctrl + Alt + Del (with fn) and instead of CPU-reset, it causes U-Boot to skip its USB stuff and goes straight to GRUB (where I set GRUB_TIMEOUT=0 so that it immediately boots the kernel.

Sometimes waiting too long to press Ctrl+Alt+Del, it'll boot the kernel but with some errors mentioning apple.usb or something like that, and kernel/systemd will hang without ever starting userspace.

Unfortunately, plugging in these devices while the computer is running, about half the time it'll recognize them, but the other half it'll either ignore them, or the computer completely freezes (I usually have to alternate plugging them into different USB-C ports to get it to recognize them). I am running Debian stable from the Asahi wiki of "other distros", with the latest Asahi repo of kernels and mesa and all that (6.5.0-asahi)

lsusb reports
I've run sudo lsusb -v with these devices independently plugged in and nothing else plugged into the docks. When neither of the 2 USB's on the Mac have anything plugged in, lsusb reports nothing at all, so the following sections only include everything each of the devices report, nothing extra.

Please let me know if there is any other information I can provide to help update
