Elecom TrackBall Mouse HUGE Button Map Script

This quick script quickly maps the Elecom Trackball HUGE mouse.

The default configuration of this script makes the second right mouse button (index 12) another right click on the Elecom TrackBall HUGE mouse.

The mapping is done using the utility xinput

You can easily modify the mapping by modifying the values on line 27 in mouse_map.sh

Running Script

1. Run BASH script mouse_map.sh from terminal.
2. The script will show you current devices that identify as mice.
3. Enter the device number associated with your mouse. (The Elecom Huge Trackball will always have 12 buttons)
4. The script will show you the current mapping of the selected mouse.
5. Enter Y to continue with the mapping, enter n or anything else to abort the mapping.
6. Enjoy!
