FR Ability to use input_select entities

It would be great if we could use input_select's as the button entities so the input of a media player could be selected for example.

The Nextion display used by NSPanel doesn't have support to drop down components, which makes quite hard to have more advanced controls for input select.

In theory an input-select entity button could open up a new screen with max 8 options to choose from? (Listed like the entity pages, but clickable?). Could a second page for extra options work? Maybs these screens need some border to indicate this being input_select, not a regular button screen...

It is possible to develop some "components" like this, but it will require some effort.
Ideally this "select" component should support even more than items, even it that means having some scrolling, but that probably should be in a second step, as this might have other implications on the size of the string transferred to ESPHome. I'm thinking about memory limits.
Also, 8 options might fits well the US display, but might be a bit too much on the EU version.
