Welcome to the elliptical-box-maker wiki!

A quick description of the options:

• Unit. This should be self-explanatory.

• Height and Width determine the size of the elliptical side.

• Depth is the remaining dimension

• Cut distance is the spacing between the cuts on the curved surface. Note that there will be another offset cut at half this distance.

• Number of cuts is how many cuts that you want across the depth

• Lid angle is the angle of the lid measured at the center of the ellipse. The is always on top of the box.

• Invert lid notches inverts the notch pattern on the lid so that you can use the last notch on the body to help keep the lid in place (needs a picture to properly explain).

• Central rib creates holes and notches for a rib at half the box depth. This can be used to create a handle on the lid.
