Issue and Pull Request Handling
We are happy for Pull Requests and Issues. Whenever there is a new Pull Request or Issue we typically bring it up for discussion in the weekly VSS meetings.
The VSS-project is however driven by volunteers, and if there have not been any interest or activity on a Pull Request or Issue for a long period of time (typically >6 months) we may close it. The best way to prevent this is to:
- Address any comments, questions and for PRs errors reported by continuous integration.
- Join one of the weekly VSS meetings and ask for your PR/Issue to be discussed
- Rebase Pull Requests if there are any conflicts.
- Volunteer to create a solution - we are happy to provide guidance and support!
If you think we closed and Issue or Pull Request and you think it is still relevant - just add a comment and reopen it, and we will try to bring it up on a VSS-meeting to give it a second chance.
Template for closing tickets below:
We regularly close old issues and pull requests that appear to be abandoned or completed, where there have not been any activity for a long time. If you think your item is still relevant please feel to add a comment and re-open it. You are also very welcome to bring up the topic at one of our weekly VSS meetings.
