Description:

This update addresses issue #103, transferring user data from the Smart Clothing app to the coaching dashboard. Push notifications from the coaching dashboard now work when the app is in the foreground, background, or killed. Expo was updated to version 51, unnecessary dependencies were removed, and app.json was modified.

TODO:

  1. Link for Enabling Notification Permissions:

    • Add a link in notifications to allow coaches to enable push notifications.
    • Options: Link to an in-app page or browser mode in the coaching dashboard web app.

  2. Email Notifications:

    • Implement email notifications using free services like SendGrid, Mailgun, or Nodemailer with Firebase Cloud Functions.
