The biomassChemistryMBMFoam is an extended solver based on the official "coalChemistryFoam" solver. Instead of using the coalCombustion lib, a new biomassCombustion lib is built. The mesh-based thermally thick particle model is implemented to calculate the thermal conversion of the biomass particle.

This solver is a parallel project as the biomassChemistryFoam which usedIBM (interfaces-based model), and this project used MBM (mesh-based model).
More details are documented in the "Student tutorials" at CFD with OpenSource Software (Course at Chalmers University of Technology) titled "Implement a mesh-based particle model for the coalCombustionFoam for solving the biomass combustion"
