Ensure you have Python installed on your system.

Clone this repository to your local machine: git clone https://github.com/Damieee/jvec-assessment-backend.git

Navigate to the project directory using Command Prompt or IDE Teminal: cd jvec-assessment-backend

Create a virtual environment (recommended):
python -m venv venv

Activate the virtual environment:
- On Windows:
venv\Scripts\activate
- On macOS and Linux:
source venv/bin/activate
- On Windows:

Install the required dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt

Run the Django development server:
python manage.py runserver
Your application should now be running at http://localhost:8000/.
