STMURLAsset is a subclass of AVURLAsset that can cache data downloaded by AVPlayer.
Just use it like AVURLAsset

let asset = STMURLAsset(url: url)
asset.preloadAsynchronously()
let playerItem = AVPlayerItem(asset: asset)
let player = AVPlayer(playerItem: playerItem)
