Conclusions from community work regarding mobile Mockup
- don't design for 100% functional parity
- leverage mobile-specific functions like notifications
Duke mobile app strategy includes having a local app store which not every institution has.
Some discussion around progressive web app vs native. Both are viable options, Duke is only interested in native mobile apps for this project.
After the meeting @joliet and @profmikegreen discussed the possibility of a mobile-first, progressive web app being the future of Sakai's responsive design a la mobile.twitter.com.
